Simply click on any Slug and you can READ the complete story on the computer itself     English stories are displayed in English while Hindi stories are displayed in Hindi.     Viewing stories on browser will be the best for viewing. Can change font type and font size to have perfect view according to the user.
Searching for stories based on particular keywords appearing inside the story	Not available	Often editorial staffs need to search for a particular type of story on the basis of keyword but that keyword does not appear in the Slug. For example if you need to search for stories that contain the word WAR inside the story but that word does not appear in the Slug. SwiftWire can easily and very quickly SEARCH for such stories too. Simply type the keyword (for example WAR) which appears inside a story, in the appropriate box and SwiftWire will display all stories that have arrived form PTI & UNI with the word WAR inside the story.
Searching for stories based on time	Not available	This feature is available for BHASHA & VARTA stories as well as fro UNI & PTI stories       Due to the limitations on the number of lines that can be displayed on a PC’s Monitor, only the PAGE containing the latest stories are displayed on the Screen. Earlier stories are stores in similar pages and to access these pages / stories, users have to use the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons. By late evening when a large number of stories have arrived and has been saved, it becomes very cumbersome and time-consuming to locate stories that have come say between 11.00 am and 11.45 am. SwiftWire makes searching for such stories also very easy and fast. Simply enter the time range in the appropriate box and SwiftWire will almost instantly display all stories that have arrived within that time frame.
Integrate photo services	Not available	Photo services from PTI/Reuters etc cab be integrated with SwiftWire.
Automatic Merging	Automatic MERGING is possible, but copying and pasting it to any editor is not possible	During MERGING, the MERGED story is automatically COPIED in the clipboard. So Page Maker or Quark Express or MS-Word can be opened and the MERGED story PASTED into the Word Processor for direct editing
Semi-Automatic Merging	Not possible for Hindi Stories	This feature is available for BHASHA & VARTA (Hindi) as well as for PTI & UNI (English) stories    Stories / ‘takes’ can also be MERGED by individually selecting the required stories / ‘takes’ from the Main Display and then clicking the MERGE Button.     During MERGING, the MERGED story is automatically COPIED in the clipboard. Marking stories as used	Not possible	Once the editorial staffs uses a story they can mark it as used. Others users will know immediately that the story is already used. This is useful when multiple people are working on the same stories.
